This year during the traditional Gurtam partner conference, held on April, 27 in Moscow, among the global plans, innovations, achievements and further development strategies our management also announced some other crucial changes that entered into force on May 1 and have become available since then.
Let’s start with the news from our technical support department. During the conference Gurtam CTO Viacheslav Krival announced the news that will be appreciated by all the company partners and Wialon users — Gurtam technical support service now works in round-the clock mode and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. From now on you can post your request on Guram forum, send us an e-mail or just give us a call anytime you like whether it’s day or night, and our specialists will do their best to help you.
Viacheslav also introduced special Training and Certification program, developed by our support team for technical specialists, dealing with Wialon software solutions. Extremely rapid development of modern GPS tracking and fleet management systems, extension of functional capabilities, availability of new options, often poses some kind of a problem concerning the lack of qualified specialists, capable to use the maximum functionality of GPS tracking systems, and in particular, all the rich potential of Wialon software solutions. Therefore, it motivated our specialists to introduce a training program that will help to level up our partners’ personnel qualification, i.e. the work of managers, system administrators, as well as application programmers, working with SDK module.
Since New Year the obligatory requirement for Gurtam partners, having the Bronze status, will be the presence of at least one certified manager in their team, for the Silver partners — the presence of two managers and system administrator, and Gold partner will have to complete their staff by minimum three managers, system administrator and programmer, having the corresponding certificate.

In this regard it was also highlighted that the presence of certified specialists will be the mandatory requirement for obtaining the status in Gurtam partner program, which also underwent some changes, represented by Gurtam CMO Aliaksandr Kuushynau.
During his conference speech he paid special attention to the changes in marketing activity remuneration system, available for all the clients, using Wialon Hosting. Starting from May, 1 marketing expenses will be reimbursed as follows: before the advertising campaign, participation in expo, promotional materials publishing, leaflet and brochure printing — this information should be transferred to Gurtam regional manager, whereupon you can file an application for reimbursement of some part of the event cost. However, the sum of indemnity, received from Gurtam won’t exceed 50% from the total marketing event/activity cost, and will comprise not more than 10 % from a partner’s Wialon Histing payments in the outgoing year.
