You wanna Lamborghini, you wanna Maserati…you better look what I’ve got for you here! Have you ever heard of Mille Miglia popular Italian race? Even if your answer is no, I bet you’ll appreciate this.
Historically, it was an open-road endurance race which took place in Italy twenty-four times from 1927 to 1957. Since 1977, the Mille Miglia has been reborn as a regularity race for classic and vintage cars, produced no later than 1957.
Mille Miglia successfully combines tradition with innovation, and all the numerous viewers can appreciate this combination, enriched with creativity, elegance, beautiful scenery and the Italian way of living.
Today Wolfgang Busch from MyCarControl, our partner in Germany, has told me that right now one of his customers is also taking part in this race with his old Bentley 1927 model. And he uses Wialon Hosting for showing the team in real time. Very nice way of using Wialon, doesn’t it? You can also join and follow the race.
The Mille Miglia is in fact one of the most exciting and successful races in the world, and recently judged as Best Event of the Year by the Motor Klassik Awards. This year there were 916 applications out of which 430 cars have been accepted — and all of them are cars of great historical and sporting prestige.
It’s Friday already and I think it’s time to wish you a wonderful weekend with plenty of exiting emotions and good feelings. Follow your dreams and hit the road!
