In late March, Gurtam team is leaving for Germany to take part in CeBIT 2017 which will mark our seventh consecutive year attending the ICT trade show. The annual event is taking place from March 20 to March 24 at Deutsche Messe in Hannover, Germany. In the exhibition halls, 3000 companies from 70 nations will present real-life application scenarios, and a small army of startups will profile their disruptive business models.
Joined by numerous startups to showcase the latest advances in the Internet of Things, Cloud computing, IT security, mobile applications and social business, once again Gurtam has become a part of Cebit 2016, the international technology fair.
This spring, however, the impressions are different and trends are getting clear. The never changing trend is the presence of a huge number of Gurtam partners from Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the CIS. It goes without saying that Gurtam booth at Cebit 2016 has again become the all-gathering platform for business communication and networking of hardware manufacturers, partners and developers.
The busy season is almost upon us. Spring is the perfect time to look at where your business needs to go in order to grow. With this in mind, this March Gurtam will be taking part in 2 most exciting events – CeBIT 2016 expo and Telematics Conference Middle East & Africa.
Telematics Conference Middle East & Africa: 2-3 March, Dubai
Wednesday morning after the tiring week of CeBIT, in the warm coziness of the Minsk office, it’s time to look back and conjure up the memories from the previous week’s amazing technological trade-show.
Having never been to Hannover before, I was expecting it would be no way different from a bunch of other small cities spread across Germany. Alas! Every March the city becomes an immense international playground for digital innovation, which sends an impulse all around the world, transforming the global IT domains, and leaving practically no question unanswered.
The most intense week of March is over, and Gurtam team returned from the trip to Hannover, where they actively worked at CeBIT. I have no any desire to tell you again that this event is so important, significant and so on and so forth. I’d rather describe CeBIT as viewed by my colleagues.
This year our German journey started with a one-day Gurtam conference Telematics 2014. Hannover (I told you about it in the previous article). And the next day Gurtam and Co., together with our partners, went straight to CeBIT.
Gurtam booth was located in its element, surrounded by companies, showcasing telematics innovations. Next to Gurtam you could see Arvento, BCE, Omnicomm, Microset, Teltonika, Atrack, Meitrack, Technoton, Ruptela, and etc. Fundamental difference for CeBIT 2014, according to my colleagues, can be clearly seen through less number of «window shoppers», and increased number of professionals, who came to the expo well-prepared with particular purposes to find new solutions and get useful business contacts.
Winter is weakening little by little, giving way to the sun and warmth. Each of us has his own associations with the beginning of spring and for Gurtam first spring days mean participation in the world’s largest computer expo – CeBIT. The year 2014 won’t become an exception: from 11th till 15th of March we are leaving for Hannover, Germany to see cutting-edge IT-solutions and present our own products to foreign colleagues at the expo CeBIT 2014.
Largest international IT exhibition CeBIT 2013, which annually represents the whole bunch of new IT and telecommunication technologies and products, and traditionally, starting from 1970, is held at the beginning of March by Deutsche Messe AG in Hannover, is over. The scale of the exhibition is really fascinating: general exhibition area — 85 000 sq.m., 4 240 exhibitors, audience of 312 000 people from 110 countries of the world, 5 100 journalists from 65 countries, highlighting the event.
Quite recently the Gurtam team came back to Minsk home office after spending a week on the largest international IT-exhibition CeBIT-2012 in Hanover, Germany. Five days spent in the Deutsche Messe Expo Center allowed our team to evaluate experience of other companies while sharing our own, make a lot of interesting, useful and promising contacts, as well as – how could we not! – perform software platform Wialon in all its glory. It is worth noticing that Wialon became a real discovery for a great number of CeBIT guests. During the period from 1 to 6 March 2012 CeBIT was visited by thousands of people (official statistics isn’t available yet, but unofficial sources consider that the number of visitors will exceed half a million). More than 4,000 companies from all over the world came to Hanover to perform their products, enter new markets and gain valuable experience. Many significant figures of IT-industry were among the participants (IBM, Google, Microsoft, Canon, etc). Gurtam team hosted Hall 11, Stand B61 greeting everyone interested in fleet management and GPS tracking system Wialon. (more…)
Gurtam, fleet management and GPS tracking systems developer, has announced plans to participate in CeBIT technology trade fair, which is taking place in Hannover, Germany. The digital industry’s biggest international event is scheduled to be held from March 6 to 10.
CeBIT is one of the most famous and largest computer fair, where worldwide known exhibitors share their knowledge, ideas and innovations. Exhibiting companies are looking there for new business contacts and they, actually, get them as CeBIT brings together great ideas and people. This is the right place for linking the suppliers and customers of office and information technologies.
