Last Sunday, just before CeBIT expo, Gurtam ran Telematics 2014. Hannover conference, where we could not only meet our western colleagues, but also showcased the latest company products. This time Gurtam conference gathered partners from Bulgaria, Serbia, Netherlands, Lithuania, Germany, Hungary, Taiwan and Nigeria.
Telematics format this time distinguished a bit from other Gurtam events, cause the conference was held in English. It helped to create active networking environment and was appreciated by all the guests. Telematics 2014. Hannover became a specific playground for launching new products and implementing fresh ideas.
First of all, the conference attendees happened to see a new Wialon Local server product, so to say, in action, and learned that very soon, during Navitech expo, it would be ready for sale. Moreover, Gurtam introduced two new Apps, due to which the issue of stationary units tracking was happily transferred from the list of long-awaited upcomings to the category of successfully implemented functions.
Everyone knows that GPS vehicle tracking is the main Wialon sphere of application all over the world. But the world constantly changes, so do the needs, together with spheres of application for ultimate telematics solutions. Today engineering equipment very often represents a peculiar kind of «monster», with its own organism and vital processes. Immense amount of different sensors gather information about this «organism», facilitating its operation.
Speaking about «organisms», we can imagine not only modern cars, stuffed with a pile of electronics, but also different power generators and etc. Even the whole plants and power stations can be considered as units to be tracked. And now guess, what can make working with such complicated systems easier? Wialon, of cause.
Therefore, let me show you a new Apps for stationary units tracking, called Sensolator. Its main task is to provide a convenient system, allowing to monitor the work of all the necessary sensors from one or any number of units tracked. You can display and control all the parameters, important to you (in a visually pleasant, and what is more important, user-friendly manner). The number of sensors displayed is unlimited. New Apps can build diagrams, showing the sensors’ values, for example, for today, last week and etc.
The application can also send notifications (online, by e-mail or SMS), which can be extremely important while working with dangerous installations. In case if the sensor value of any unit is higher than the specified limit, being notified will definitely help in order to undertake necessary steps.
The interface is very intuitive, so you can take a deeper look into the settings personally, and meanwhile, I’ll tell you about another interesting Apps, developed by Gurtam.
I bet you know that in general, Dashboard provides at-a-glance views of KPIs (key performance indicators) relevant to a particular objective or business process. In our case, Dashboard is an effective Apps, providing overview of fleet KPIs in an easy to read real-time user interface to enable instantaneous and informed decisions to be made immediately. KPIs include Mileage, Fuel consumption, Engine hours, Average and Maximum speed, Idling, Time in trips and visited Geofences. So, you can build all the necessary diagrams by units or unit groups.
You can make any diagram you want, for example, mileage diagram for days, weeks, or just for one day. Also, it’s possible to choose the diagram type you like: line, column or pie chart.
I have pleasant news for you! The application is already available on Google Play, and in the near future you will be able to find it on App Store.
Try, use and enjoy. We’ll be glad to hear your feedback.
