As soon as holiday vacations are over it’s high time we and you start working. Actually, we already did some time ago (practically at the festive table), so that now in January to present you a fresh portion of new Wialon features. As always we aimed them at making your work with the system easier and faster. If we succeed… It is another story that you’ll tell us:) So, let’s start.

Two-factor authentication

Now your account is safe as ever. The option of two-factor authentication can be activated in “User settings”. At its activation you enter the password and after it has been checked you enter a verification code which is sent to you by e-mail or SMS.

Two-factor authentication

The advantage of a one-time password if compared to a permanent one is that it can’t be used repeatedly. Even if someone gets your personal data, they won’t be able to use the stolen password to access the system.

“Login as” mechanism

For your ultimate convenience, we brought to perfection the “Login as” mechanism. After the update, you will be able to select the needed username from the list on the authorization page. Now, top account owners won’t have to remember hundreds of usernames by heart to authorize under one of them. Moreover, there's no need to log in the monitoring system or CMS just to switch to another user. This option allows to speed up and facilitate the working process if you have accounts with hundreds of lower-ranking users.

Two-factor authentication

As you see, the changes are not big and difficult but pretty pleasant. It is always hard to get into the swing of things after holidays. So we did our best to make this process the least painful for you. Enjoy!

Today we concentrated on the update. Later this month, we'll share some case stories of NimBus applied in practice and unveil what Gurtam and Shell now have in common. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to know more about the product and the company.
